1) ARCHIDRESS FLIES HIGH TO 2018 AIRSHOW
Designing textile coatings significant for aesthetics and functionality is one of the guidelines of the "Archidress" collection by CoverHat, at the forefront of creating solutions for styling and re-styling buildings and temporary structures. The challenge was won at AirShow 2018 during Farnborough International, one of the most important aerospace exhibitions and a leading international event. !We can be proud to have taken part alongside prestigious partners, commented Roberto Rescia, CEO of CoverHat. The CoverHat staff, with its Archidress division, has in fact supplied the material to make the covering of an exhibition pavilion installed for about a month. We have carefully studied the project on the basis of the time duration, exposure and budget defined, and we proposed to our partner, one of the main international players in the design and construction of stands, a high performance solution".

First focus: choice of material. "We focused on the use of a white and translucent PES/PVC membrane to cover a supporting structure in metal tubes and lattices. To obtain a pleasant aesthetic effect we worked with four shaped sheets that were then fixed to the perimeter through composite plastic profiles, suitably worked to obtain a high performance seal that did not compromise with the design. Target achieved thanks to the collaboration between our technicians, installers and our client". Next challenge after having "flown" with the Frecce Tricolori? "We are developing projects that will lead us to collaborate with leading international companies in the world of architecture to shape ever more futuristic covers that combine technology with sustainability".
